The group's R & D achievements have been widely used in the fields of chemical industry, solar thermal power generation and heat storage, waste air and waste light, molten salt heat storage and peak shaving power station, intermittent high-temperature industrial waste heat recovery, and providing mobile heating stations for enterprises requiring steam.       

The group is the vice president unit of the new energy chamber of Commerce of the all China Federation of industry and Commerce and the vice president unit of the national molten salt industry association. The molten salt production line launched in 2016 has formed an annual production capacity of 210000 tons of potassium nitrate and 100000 tons of molten salt. All kinds of high, medium and low temperature molten salts produced by the group meet the requirements of energy storage temperature in various application scenarios. By October 2020, the group has provided more than 50000 tons of high-purity molten salt for Dunhuang Shouhang energy-saving 100MW molten salt tower photothermal power plant, Hami molten salt tower 50MW photothermal power generation project, Lanzhou Dacheng 50MW Fresnel photothermal project, Luneng Haixi 50MW tower photothermal project and CSIC Ulat Middle Banner 100MW trough photothermal power generation project, It has become a leading enterprise in the molten salt energy storage market.     

Relying on its strong molten salt manufacturing capacity, the group has formed an integrated system and financial service system of "molten salt manufacturing + energy storage system". By integrating various low-quality electricity, light and waste heat with molten salt energy storage system, the group can provide stable, sustainable and high-quality industrial steam, hot water and power for industrial enterprises and heat users. Relying on the strong heat storage capacity of molten salt energy storage system, it is widely used in many clean energy utilization fields, such as photothermal power generation, peak shaving and valley filling of power grid, waste heat utilization, clean heating and so on.
