Aerial photography of Dunhuang 100MW tower photothermal power station

On the Gobi desert in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, there is a 100 MW molten salt tower photothermal power station. Tens of thousands of heliostats are arranged in a circle, looking down from the air like silver sunflowers in the desert. The heliostat will shift with the sun over time to maintain the best reflection angle. The power station was connected to the grid on December 28, 2018 and is currently the largest solar thermal power station with installed capacity in China and even Asia.
